I'm looking for a shop in the DFW area to set up my DD X MR. I'm not aiming for the most horsepower or the most torque, as I said this is driven all the time. I'm looking to create a responsive, enjoyable ride.

Are there any recommended shops?

You can search all over the forum, but Evolution Dynamics pretty much works on the majority of the evos in Texas.

 

Hey, long time no see! Was it you that showed up to the NTEC meet this week in your "daily driver"?

There are two main shops here in Dallas. Evolution Dynamics (run by KevinD, rfielder and denver) and Cobb.

ED only works on Evos (unless the inlaws need help lol). Cobb works on a lot of different types of cars.

 

If by a hemi-powered black and white, then yes, I did, but I didn't see you there.

Nope, I'd left by then (3 year old in the car). When someone mentioned in the thread about the meet that an LEO showed up that owned a white X MR, it was a pretty easy leap to you

Hope everything's going ok, and yes, going to a meet is a good way to get the urge to spend some money

For Tuner work in DFW, I concur with Sean. When we spoke at the end of the meet you mentioned that you weren't in a rush, so I'd recommend visiting both shops. Speak with Chris at COBB-Plano and KevinD at Evolution Dynamics-Lewisville to talk over what you'd like to do and get their ideas. You can then plan out what you want to do, whether to do it in phases, and who will do it. Have fun but don't make the wife mad.
