Powder coating wheels questions

Does anyone have suggestions as to where the best bang for the buck is in DALLAS for powder coating wheels? Will they do two colors? How much should I expect to pay per wheel? What has your experiences been?

I have called a couple places in town and got prices between $65-$75 per wheel including sanding and only one color.

Thank you,
Jesse

There is always SPC (Specialized Performance Coating) in Arlington. I know they do wheels. Here is a quote from Krisiun:

The matte bronze above is a single stage.

A long time ago I used Quality Powdercoating in Carrollton for a set of 18's and it was 300. 75 a wheel and they did a great job. Color was a gloss black so it was less than if you wanted something more custom. included sand blast as well.

True or false? The process used to bake the powder coating on the wheels can weaken the structure especially on lightweight allow wheels such as Enkei RPF-1s.

There are people in both camps. I have seen the pics of the c5 wheel cracked after being powdercoated, but those wheels are know to be weak to start with, having a history of cracking when kept stock from the factory.

There are multiple teams running powder coated wheels without adverse effects.

SPC is my choice for powdercoating and ceramic coating. I've used Michael numerous times and always been happy with the quality of work and price.
