Check Engine Light P0455 EVAP Large Leak
Hi Everyone,
My check engine light has recently turned on. I got the code P0455 for Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected (gross leak). I have changed the gas cap, but the check engine light still turns back on. Does anyone know of a way to fix this or know a good mechanic in the Dallas, Tx area. I can't find the leak because I don't have a fog machine. Oh by the way I just moved to Dallas.
Thanks,
Ronald

i can help you out. give me a call 817-776-2170. i'll be at the shop tomorrow evening, and josh can do the boost leak test during the day if you want it checked out sooner.
i have all the parts in stock you could need to fix the evap system, but i suspect it will be something really simple (likely the vacuum line from the charcoal canister to the intake manifold solenoid valve)
