Wheel input

So I picked up a set of Volk Ce28n wheels for super cheap. The only problem is that they are white with a red lip. I am not a huge fan and plan to have them recoated. My question is what color? I have bronze TE37's and was considering getting these coated either bronze or black, but I do also have a wild hair and have thought about purple or florescent yellow.

These are the wheels I am talking about

Neither color I say....

Get them coated in Gold. Gold on GG, Black or White looks awesome.

I have Enkei NT03's that I use for track only. These will be backup wheels, as some of you guys know I have problems with tires getting nails. I had just mounted new tires at PTP and within 12 miles had two nails in the sidewall of one.

Save the bright neon colors for the Subaru and Honda kids. I don't mind that purple you posted though, might look pretty decent on a black car.

Run them white - or at least put them on and see how they look and post a picture. white wheels makes the car look like the rally car that it is. I think they look great.

Those were going to be my wheels. Guess you were the guy who beat me to them...

But that aside, don't go for any crazy colors. Volks look best in silvers, gold/bronze. The furthest I would ever go is the Takata green, but even that's a stretch. If you want to make some money on them I'm still interested. I'm in need of some white CE28s.

I like the purple too. The green wheels on richards car looked pretty good.

BCspeed, I thought you had backed out of the deal. Either way I dropped them off at Seattle wheel to get coated, I kind of chickened out in case I want to sell them in the future. Should have them on Thursday

If you already had the TE-37's and you already had a track wheel why did you buy another set of volks in the first place?

My vote goes fluorescent yellow

Nope I had cash in hand, plans to meet, then they got sold. No hard feelings though, just bummed out.

Anyhow what did the shop say about the lip damage? I'm assuming it was repairable since you're getting them coated.
