3.5 days...a new record?
Which time? If you mean my most recent ticket, it was where 635 meets the North Dallas Tollway. The stop last week where there was no ticket was just north of Allen on 75.
Yeah, I would have set the cruise, but I'm still breakin' it in. I have just over 400 miles to go before I'd be ok with just cruising. The cop was cool that time, though. Just a warning.
I've been pretty lucky and only averaging one ticket about every 18 months. Of course I just take the defensive driving and presto -- it's gone.
As for a record, my buddy got a ticket the day he bought his WRX. It took it out to show it off to a friend and bam! Got popped pulling out of the neighborhood.

There was a time that I had 2 deferred adjudications and an active defensive driving all within 3 months. I tend to go on droughts and then get nailed sometimes a couple of times in a day. I always get the bull**** tickets like illegal lane change, red lights, or some **** like that.

When I get caught, I am going to most likely spend an all inclusive weekend at Casa de Policia Station. I say if you are going to speed, might as well speed big. I try to keep my speeds below 20 over most of the time. That way I can always still do a deferred or defensive class. I have the answers to all the questions for defensivedriving.com btw.

Simple solution. Play a videogame while you sit through it. Just look over periodically and press the next button. That's what I'd do.

I guess maybe because the area is so borderline rural...cops just don't generally hang out along 121, at least not at night.
I've found that the ideal place to "cut loose" MPH-wise is on 121. When I was still breaking in my car, I would drive up the tollway to 121 and then over to 75. I have yet to see a cop along 121. I passed 1,000 miles while still Northeast on that stretch to go see Thor and, Seconds after I hit 1,000, I also hit 120 MPH.....made me miss my exit.

I saw a cop and don't know if he saw me or not, but the next right turn suddenly became mine even if it wasn't already.
As I drove (now North) on this random street, I saw that cop going by very very quickly. Needless to say, when I left the area, I took Arapaho instead of Beltline again. my car had less then 120miles when i had it dyno tuned to 400whp @ 23psi.
Its been about 11,000+ miles, now running 500+whp @ 30psi and runs flawless.
