ETA: From an insurance perspective, you should call your company and let them know what happened. It's not your fault, so it won't affect your rates, and if (when) the guy balks at paying, you are protected. Insurance companies can subrogate and get all the money back.

Edited again: Also, if it's just spidering, the bumper should be repaired, not replaced.
Good to know. I didnt think it needed to be replaced, but just in case. Man this sucks im moving out of state in a week and need to deal with this now....errrrr

Car is now at the shop getting fixed. Got an ETA of 2/14 to get it back..... going to be the best valentines present ever! 533.48 for the damage. Most expensive granola bar ever for that guy!
