Spark Plug Change?

Hey guys, tried searching forums but didn't find anything.

I saw spark plugs are on the 120k mile maintenance, but was wondering if you guys changed them more often. Perhaps to a colder plug with a different gap?

I'm just running Stage 2, nothing crazy.

Thanks!

I changed mine out at 50k (approaching 80k currently) and they looked pretty clean. I know some people have changed theirs more regularly but it's ultimately up to you. There have been quite a few cases of stock spark plugs failing and some cases of it failing/breaking, falling into the engine, and ultimately hurting the engine. I would suggest pulling your plugs and looking at them (easy 10 min job anyways). I haven't heard too much talk about going to colder plugs, but my stock ones (first and current set) have worked perfectly so I would just stick with those.

Ultimately it's up to you though.

The stock plugs are cold enough already so my recommendation is sticking with the OEM NGK plugs for the vast majority of setups. I personally change mine annually just to play it safe.
