very nice dan. :]

so i got to drive a lotus elise the other day. i have to say it is one of the coolest cars i have ever driven. no power steering, weighing about half as much as a flea, and with an absolutely insane amount of grip. the only problem being that i barely fit in the driver's seat, and i am constantly "brake boosting" because my shoes were too wide to only hit one pedal.

absolutely astonishing car to drive. my only two issues with it were that i wish it were slightly larger so my fat *** could drive it easier, and a slightly quicker steering ratio. it really does feel like a go kart.

not nearly as fast as my car in a straight but god can it handle corners.

Went for a drive in one with Curt couple months back. It's def a different kind of animal! I drove a supercharged one and it was def quick. The handling and braking was the most impressive part about it. Def on my "to buy" list in the future.

if i was 5" shorter and 100 pounds lighter it would be on my "to buy" list too.

hey guys, just a reminder the NHSCC has regained control of the pool parking lot in north park for autocross.

http://nhscc.com/

the next event will be on september 13th.

there will only be 4 events in the fall session at north park. if you haven't raced before i highly recommend going to autoX in north park. very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of people eager to pass on their knowledge to you.

plus it's cheap as chips.

as always i have an extra helmet if anyone needs to borrow for an event.

Race day starts with registration from 8:30 to 9:30am. Tech inspection closes at 10:00am. Timed runs follow the mandatory Drivers Meeting.
