got nicked by johnny law tonight. did a partial throttle second gear rip... like just enough to hit about 20psi. an interceptor was like 50 yards away and pulled me over. dude wasnt even clocking people but he gave me a ticket for speeding and another ticket for tinted tail lights.
needless to say im fighting it. he cant prove **** about me speeding. as far as equipment violations go, ticketing me for tail lights on a 570whp street car is focking hilarious. when i pulled over the car absolutely reeked of ethanol. lol
gotta vent somewhere. be safe out there boys

hopefully the judge will be reasonable due to the vagueness of the ticket.

speeding ticket said: "driver failed to obey the posted 35mph speed limit on rt 22". the ticket reads section 3111 sub section A
equipment violation ticket reads: "vehicle displayed tinted tail lamps" section 4107 sub section A-1
equipment violation ticket reads: "vehicle displayed tinted tail lamps" section 4107 sub section A-1
Basically one was a fix it ticket and the other one is bogus.
My opinion... Trade tails with a stock 8 for a day, and appear in court. Say, cop was crazy, have car shown to be stock tails, then argue that he was in no position to administer a speeding device, and it was using only hearing, not sight.
I dont know about a 3111 not sticking in court. 3111 is what they give you when they cant be specific, or if they want to give you a break. 3111 carries no points, while speeding does. Usually 3111 is what people ask for when they plead not guilty. Im not sure what you could bargain down to except dismissal, which i doubt would happen. They want da green yo!
The tint ticket, i doubt they follow through on that one. I bet they tell you to fix it and come back to show them within 30 days and that would be dismissed.

Yeah that sucks.... I got nailed a few weeks back doin 29 over... I think thats 5 points so hopefully they show some leniency.
Seems like they have been rather aggressive with speeding lately as I have heard of alot of people getting nailed so bee careful out there!

Well i went to the last wexford car show at that church yesterday, and there was a **** ton of cars there..... the announcers kept saying close to 3000 cars... both lots where full along with all of the fields behind the top parking lot.. Any way i only took pictures of my friends supra

yeah, ive been telling dan (steelcityevo) this for a few months, but depending on where i am financially in a year or two... im starting a supra build. i am absolutely in love with those cars. i know i know they're played out and old school, but they're just so sick.
