When I had my 04 I ran HSP in the tc and rear diff - worked well except for the rear end, didn't play nice with the LSD. I had a lot of chatter when pulling fro ma stop, especially when turning. You need to add a friction modifier with the HSP for it to play nice with the LSD - I just swapped out for the 75w90 redline and did some figure 8's in a parking lot and all chatter went away within 15 minutes.

Which brings me to my 06 w/ LSD in TC - I only run diaqueen in the TC and Rear becuase it works and works well. Not sure how HSP would play with the LSD in the TC after seeing what it did in the rear end of the 04, I know it was fine in the open diff 04 but I never tried it to see what would happen - nor do I really want to.

Yeah, I am sort of in the same boat. I am not satisfied with the fluid in my tranny, but the TC and Rear Differential are running just fine. I change the fluids religiously with the OEM Diaqueen stuff and I have practically 0 residue on the magnetic drain plug and no chatter at all.

The only problem I wanted to fix was the tranny and its shifting during early mornings, cold starts, etc. I am still using the Diaqueen fluid and have heard 3 different ways to go in terms of fluid. Some say amsoil, some say the redline shockproof, and some say a mixture of the redline products, others say stick with the OEM stuff. Not sure. What do you guys recommend for the 6 speed as it looks like I might have to use this transmission to get through the winter before I do the motor swap. Any favorites? Where are you getting it?

Thanks!

For the 6-speeds I think the stuff was found to be very good...
