Hey Is anyone going to PRP 2morrow and my buddy Nick is home from mich. He has a yellow evo with a GT35r, meth injection, and everything else under the sun. He was very impressed with how big the PGH evo thread is and wants to meet up with some other evos while hes home. So, miracle mile this week sound good to anyone? I also have a manifold if you still need one?

Jer,

The 272's are nice but realize it would be a wise investment for long term use to get some new valvesprings and retainers. Personally Jer i know whenever i go bigger i would like to do the Crower stage 2 or 3 cam upgrade, as well as the valvetrain kit upgrade. Please feel free to look at our new site with 10% off your getting a KILLER deal. The coupon number is 10PCOFF id you decide to purchase.

My brother and I are going to Norwalk Sunday, but we are going to Cleveland sat night so we will just end up seeing whoever goes out there at the track. Unless we meet up with you on the way out Sunday morn. Last year we had about 4 of us leave from the burgh and roll out. Fun little road trip, not to mention all the monsters that ran at the track!

Oh and by the way jeremy I think 272's are the way to go man. They are great with the stock turbo and will produce gains with larger turbos as well. I personally have gsc, but I think some other locals have hks. If you go with 264 now and decide to upgrade your turbo somewhere down the line, you may be buying a second set of cams.

264/272 isnt a bad idea, you keep a nice idle and torque. Then you keep the top end of the 272. I picked up 55awhp with this setup. 45lbs of torque to the wheels.

yes that tends to be a very good set up. I wouldn't worry much about down the line if you want to get a bigger turbo etc, because cams are always easy to sell used, not to mention you dont' always have to upgrade the cam to 280s so really its not that bad.

I have gsc 272's in my future....I would stick with straight 272's as well, with tuning you can make them idle very well.

Not even with the best tune can you get rid of the rough idle. Steelcity has HKS 272/272 stock turbo made 27awhp gain with the cams. But your torque doesnt change that much. As for PRP im going to work on the fuel pump in a lil if I get done in time Ill be there. Its possible to get it to idle better but it will always be lopey
