I agree, your looking at a big PITA without a lift. But good luck and let me know if you end up needing some help.

Is this for me? i think ill be fine, I have two mechanics in the family (brother+dad) with many years going for them.. have every tool possibly needed for the job.. I dont know if it will be that bad The MBC was not hard at all to hook up, i just had no idea which line was the vacuum on the MBC and had it hooked up backwards it was a simple 10 sec fix..

keep in mind you will need a slide hammer to pull the intermediate shafts out of the transfer case. The Cv shafts come right off, then you need a slide hammer and we have a welded nut/bolt that we screw in and slide hammer out. thats really the only safe way to remove the intermeditate shafts out. on the ground, the ACD trans/transfer cases are an absolute b**ch. It took me 5hrs on the lift.. add about three for pissing around with things and not being able to put the car up and down. good luck

hahah.. I c ould careless where you get it done or if you do it. But the slide hammer is a $100.00 tool and you have to order a cheap one in, or pay even more for a Matco or snap-on one locally.
