272 are nice lost nothing anywhere picked up power and spoolup , powerband just got fatter from start to finish. idle isnt a concern to me as soon as u tip in the throttle its all good , plus if u got a standalone or even a flash can get most cars to idle nice

 

oh and i spotted a silver IX today in level green near the upmc doctor facility , anyone on here????

 

I have 272's in mine and you can smooth out the lopey's by raising the idle. Using the Vishnu chip the base map I am using handles the 272's nicely. I haven't had my car dyno'ed yet, but it increased the seat HP nicely. I saw it more in 3rd and 4th gears. I went with the 272's because the plan is to put in a bigger turbo down the road. I am shooting to get the car to 550 - 600 hp some day.

 

well, i am pretty f*cking pissed right now.

i got pulled over and cited tonight for "Traffic Control Devices".

basically i was crossing over route 51 going down onto streets run road, and a cop was sitting in the turning lane on 51, waiting for the light to change to make the turn down after me.

the speed limit is 35, honestly i was doing about 40 - 42 mph.

Well, i get down to the stop sign a couple hundred yards down the road, and see bright headlights flying up behind me. Ok, i know the drill. i stop at the stop sign and he pulls me over. he comes up to my window and does the normal routine, then takes my info back to his car. while he is running my info his backup arrives and i hear them sitting behind my car talking and words "f*cking spoiler" come up.

he writes me the citation for doing 50 in a 35. now, it wasn't a speeding ticket, so there are no points involved, and the fine is only 106 dollars.

should i take him to court?

the only things i am not sure about, is when he asked me how fast i was going i just said that i didn't know.

man i f*cking hate cops.

 

I don't the kid yet, but he lives on the street behind me...he just picked it this past weekend. I want to stop by when I see him home next time.

I live in Level Green and we have some very cool/fast cars...luckily I am one of them One guy has a silver SRT-4, there is an awesome white WRX w/ an incredible exhaust, a silver WRX, that silver MR, and my WW IX. I think we need to start our own club LOL

I like to sit in my living room on the couch and pick out which car is driving by just by the exhaust. I can't see out the window from my side of the couch but my wife can from hers and she just looks out and smiles at me while shaking her head because I'm right

That sucks. So exactly what did he say to you when he came back and gave you the ticket? Because I don't understand what he wrote you up for - he put your speed on the ticket even though it wasn't a speeding ticket? What did he say "Traffic Control Devices" meant?

Personally, if there are no points involved, I wouldn't bother fighting it because that's all I ever try to get from going to court anyway. I ask for the typical 5mph over and a fine without points. I wouldn't waste my time to go.

Fight that ticket.....He had no way to tell how fast you were going. No radar or vascar....I guess he has a radar built into his brain lol.....I know the shootout is this weekend but is anyone interested in going to York PA to the York Meet. I guess they always have a huge turnout and it sounds like it will be a good time

 

he wrote me up for speeding based on the amount of time it took him to catch up to me on this windy little road. complete estimation. in his mind, i HAD to be going 50 mph to reach the point on the road where he caught up to me. because that is how fast he had to go to catch up.

i think i am going to have to pay it, since it really does come down to his word against mine. and knowing the magistrate in baldwin, i think i can predict how that one will go.

but honestly. i feel that this is a f*cking shakedown.

since F&F3 came out, i think that is going to make this a long summer

 

mondo i'm sorry that really sucks idk what to say, however i would still fight it. It may be his word against yours but i'm sure you can provide a good arguement. Let us know what you finally decide.

same thing went down with me a month ago.....i fought it and won cops were being dicks the whole time

 

dude **** baldwin cops it was prob the cop that said i was wreckless driving on that same road i wouldnt take it to court if no points are involved but i was facing 6 months supspension of license and i beat it i was even head on in the oncomin lane head on wit the cop and got out of it the baldwin judge is cool if u go in there respectable

 

well, my only defense though, is that i was speeding. just not as much as he said i was.

which isn't a very good plea haha

and since it's not a speeding ticket, i don't think how fast i was going will drop the fine any. i dunno, i am gonna talk to a couple more friends today that have dealt with the baldwin magistrate and see how kind he is.
