Hey mondo did you ever get that suspension noise you had fixed? I just developed a problem on the front passenger suspension when I got back to pittsburgh 15 min. ago. Im really pissed as to what happened and why it happend so immediate? It was fine the whole 2.5 hr. trip and it was good all weekend as I had the car out tuning over the weekend around my parents house. The noise is kind of a loud scrap/clunk/knock type noise (hard to explain without hearing it) when I hit a bump or turn and put a slight load on the suspension. Im just curious if you figured out what happened to yours? I might have similar issues?

Im lifting the front tomorrow to check the ball joints and then im pulling the wheel to check suspension bolts and the shock.....its so f-ing annoying

 

unfortunately i never have figured it out trav. i am gonna take it back to mitsu for the 5th time in a week or so, because my noise keeps getting progressively worse.

oddly enough though there is still no noticable loss in performance.

i am getting about to the end of my wits though. if you don't figure it out, next time you're around we can compare noises and see if we can get any ideas.

yours and steelcitys word is as good as gold to me. You tell me you want it, I will mark it as sold now so it can be yours. Just call me or say the word. as for the rocket, yea. I am soooo hoping for a 9.99 pass bone stock. without strapping the front, i am assuming a low 10 though. we will see!!

Thanks man, I will check it out today and see what I can find. The noise is def. passenger since it only occurs when I load the suspension turning to the left. Its a knock/clunk/pop noise for sure. I can also feel it through the floor and the steering wheel when I turn. Its almost like something is binding up? Maybe we can meet up some evening this week and compare noises....I will let you know what I find out tonight when I pull the wheel.

 

I m going to start saving..it might take a month or two but i will buy it
