local Pittsburgh Meet
we usually just meet up outside behind the loews theatre at the waterfront. Then from there we head to Dave & Busters have a few drinks, and then we all go around and goof around with video games. Figure its the best alternative than doing something illegal. Eventually when more of us are able to free up more money and most importantly, more time. We will be having more meets at the track, and doing that entire racing ordeal. haha

hah i'd be down for an evo meet sure. i'm sick of seeing all the subies around here...not old enough to crash dave & buster's unfortunately. i'll try to keep posting events we here about. I'm an officer for the CMU Rally & Autocross Club, so we try to go to as many events as possible hehe...
peety u only race for slips wtf man is this the fast and the furious i got some friends that would love a new 9 lol dan man any night u want we meet up wit cars, racin, street fun and some herb fun after words, it sucks bein cold cause we been slackin off on meetin up, but my 4 closest friends have to dsms and 2 wrxs so there not honda civic 1.6 non vetec slow and there def about the diy work as am i obvously

yo eric and glenn u guys know whatsup .eric get a fockin clutch so we can do some $hit cause i know ur car is strong and u need to fly under the STEELCITYRACING banner. i am just tryin tryin to organize a true dedicated group that will get together on the regular and do some $hit hittin the streets/strip/roadcourse whatever but as u guys know more of a street crew than anything. and spread the word not dedicated to evo's but the more the better!!!!! underpressure
Can any of you guys take a look at my post on a boost issue I'm having and give some suggestions? I'm just about out of ideas...

The only thing I have not done yet is replace the 2 boost lines for the MBC - to the turbo and the wastegate. Maybe I misunderstand what all is checked with a boost leak test, but I thought if either of these lines were bad it would have been found?

Drag racing is not only about who has a faster car, Its about driving skill as well. There are not too many ppl on this thread that can go to the track and pull anywhere in the 1.6 range in there sixty foot. 1.6, hell there are not too many ppl that could pull a 1.8 or faster sixty foot in this thread. Im not talking about getting it once or twice, Im talking about on an every time basis, and you dont need any mods to get 1.8 or lower. There are ppl with stock evos pulling 1.7's, and im talking about 03-04evos that have no two step so we dont make any boost of the line. As for a real race track, there both real race tracks. When you drag at a track you find out whos a good driver and who is not. Its your opinion though so...you like auto-x and some of us like drag, but i have never seen any of us drag guys say on a real race track or that the drag strip shows who the better driver and auto-x shows whos car is faster. On another note here is Glen's video from when we rented the track........................http://youtube.com/watch?v=rGvMaPALxDw I broke traction every time, and am i not joking ask glen. I made 20 pulls and broke traction every time. Glen only got the first two hrs he left for the second two. Like i said in an earlier post, runs were on pump gas 23lbs of boost. Best of that night 11.75 at 121.88mph. Should have done low 11's like 11.40's.

I do know I am going insane! I switched boost controllers, switched some of the sections of boost line, reflashed, reset the battery, leak test...I am at a loss. I guess tomorrow morning I'll just try switching the main lines for the MBC and see if that helps.
