he seemed to stress that it was noisy. i won't know for sure until i pick it up tommorow though.

keep in mind it is a pro street 10.5lb flywheel and exedy single plate organic.
I had the ACT XTSS w/ Streetlite flywheel and there was no additional noise from that at all.

I have the same set up as Denny and I've experienced no noise or chatter at all. I have heard Evos with twin plates and there is definitely a difference in noise.... Good luck with it though...

well. here is the break down.

when i engage the clutch out of first it makes this horrendous whoosing noise. sounds almost like the flywheel is rough and skipping off the clutch plate.

then when i make right hand turns from a stop there is a grinding noise, after the whooshing noise.

how f**cking fun is that?

mike from emage didn't really know what to make of the whooshing noise, he said it might go away with break in. but i don't know if he heard the grinding noise while making right hand turns.

also, sometimes i partially loose my brakes and have to almost floor them to get the car to stop.

so this is all f*cking awesome news.

take that last post with a grain of salt. i have been having a rough day and am just frustrated by the noises.

hopefully they will work themselves out with the break in and a pedal adjustment.

mike from emage made it a point to state that if i needed anything at all or had any questions to get ahold of him. so he has been very helpful and i am sure if something does turn out to be wrong that he will help me find it/fix it.

Sorry to hear that man, but to be honest I've never had clutch sounds "go away" after a break-in period. I hope I'm wrong and that it works out for you though!

yeah, he said he used all OEM fluids.

i think the grinding while turning right and the loss of braking power has something to do with when he took the brake assembly off to get the clutch in. something is carving a ring into the center of my rotor.

this blows.

yeah i am going to get in touch with him first thing tommorow.

i am not as worried about what is going on with my brakes as compared the noise the clutch is making while i am engaging it from a stop. he said he wasn't sure what that was, and mentioned it might go away as the clutch breaks in. but i dunno, the more i drive around and listen to it, the more sinister it sounds.

this car has just been a string of non descript noises.

mine makes noise from a dead stop if i try to baby it pulling out. its just the natural sound of the twin i guess. if i rev it up a bit giving it more throttle pullin out in first it engages smooth. how does your behave does it make noise no matter how much throttle is given?

Yeah but single disk organic should not be making any noise at all.

yeah unfortunately it makes noise no matter what. I am gonna drive it a little more and see. I have a theory about what it might be. but only some driving and a look by a mechanic will tell for sure.
