local Pittsburgh Meet
I have an interesting one for you guys - anyone ever have the
turbo gauge fog up on the inside of the glass/plastic? This morning on my way to work, mine did. Not like dripping condensation, just a light fog.

Yeah it happens when it is rainy like today. More often in the winter.
Twin Disk passed 750 miles yesterday so I figured it was time for a updated review of the daily driver.
Is it noisy? Yup, all the chatter, moans and groans associated with these clutches is there. It's not bad.
Is it harder to drive? Yes. I have to pay much more attention to clutch modulation when starting out. This isn't bad per say but I have to consciously pay attention.
Issues? Occasionally, I get locked out of first and/or reverse making parallel parking a real joy. Ussually only when car is cold.
How does it launch? When I get it right it launches HARD. Far far better then ever before. When I mess it up it bogs without mercy. Mitsu always "claimed" the EVO could do 0-60 in 4.xx seconds. This clutch makes me a believer in that.
Is it worth it? Yes, I think it is and I daily drive it in traffic uphill every single day.
Actually, hill starts are one thing that that is easier. Just slip it. It's meant for it after all.
Note: IMO The front motor mount made the twin plate clutch easier to live with.

Glad to hear your liking the clutch Dave. Just start practicing those launches at the auto-x.
. I'm getting pretty consistant with my launches. Nothing better then spinning all 4 285's. Other then the time when they actually hook up and i bust and axle or something.
As for the meet. I'm out! I'll be racing up a hill with a jump in the middle. Flying evo's are fun. Makes you cringe, but fun!
