I thought they said it was only gonna be available on order and not sitting in showrooms waiting to be picked up? Did they change their stance?

 

That is how its supposed to be but it looks like some dealers have them listed on ebay and autotrader trying to make the extra buck

 

I can remember working at a ford dealership the first year that the Ford GT's came out. They were all pre-ordered and a few dealerships got the 150 remaining that werent pre-ordered through a lottery system. Well the one we had was preordered (and the guy also paid 200k for it ) but Kenny Ross also made him sign a contract that said when the car comes off the carrier, it has to sit on the showroom floor for 30 days. It was all roped off and stuff. So Nissan dealers might have them sold, but are letting them sit just for the publicity. Getting people into the showroom is what selling a car is all about. This is an easy way to get people into the showroom.

 

And I think the Rankin bridge is down to two lanes as well so that's really gonna **** everything up.

 

the rankin bridge is a complete f*cktastrophy

i was coming home from work the other day, went to sneak off the parkway at edgewood/swissvale and there was traffic from homestead all the way to edgewood town center.

it was ridiculous. took me almost 2 hours to get home.

 

Wow, thanks for the heads up. What other way can I go to get to the waterfront then? I only know three ways. Through Edgewood, through Braddock, or on the parkway. All of those options are f'd.

 

is there a white evo that goes to RMU? i saw one pulling in once didnt get a good look. then yesterday i saw a wingless white 9

not entirely sure to tell you the truth. is parkway inbound closed all weekend?

i thought i noticed on one of the signs today that inbound will only be closed from 9pm friday night to 12pm saturday. i could be mistaken though.

You can go down rt.148 like you are going to Mckeesport and then go over the Duquesne bridge over to 837 then head out that way past kennywood and right past the rankin bridge on Homestead side.

Its a little out of the way but its better than sitting in traffic if the other 3 routs are all ****ed up.

Call me if you need specific directions going that way
