Court sucks donkey nads. I hope my officer doesn't show. I am almost positive he will be here to say hello to me though. I doubt he wants to give up the ticket gave me

-edit-
I am actually sitting in the waiting room right now in the blairsville magistrates office. This sucks

Ok, if the problem shows only when braking then its definitely brake related. But I had the same problem on my camry except for the fact that it happened at a certain speed (65-70mph) without having to apply brakes. I eventually found out it was because of the strut/springs that this problem occurs. Apparently the suspension just becomes weak at the speed you mostly drive your car in. If your's does this at 85mph......do you usually drive around that speed and how old are the struts/springs? they are suggested to be changed every 30000-40000 miles for best results (for a sporty suspension), and 60,000 miles if you dont mind a slight drop in drive quality (for a daily driver soft suspension). After I did the struts in the camry, the problem disappeared completely.

checked thickness and it was good all around. Retorqued the wheels to 80 ft/lbs and now ill have to test it. I may rebed my pads in again i could have some pad buildup.. My struts are MR bilsteins with swift springs. They are less then 15k on them so i dont think its them. I dont usually go over 70mph but when i do a pull and get on the brakes after wards it will wobble like all hell.

what else would do this except warped rotors. mine do the exact same thing you are talking about, under hard braking they wobble like hell. if i have enough rotor left i might have them resurfaced for the hell of it for the winter, then next summer get some new ones

It's pad transfer alot of the times. I'm still on stock rotars and I'll assume I use the brakes harder then most. So try that before anything. Rotors don't warp very often

so your saying re-bed them? there are alot of grooves carved into mine though so i thought i would have them resurfaced then rebed? whats the advice for this

resurfacing will prolly give you relief, but it will come back. cause they are warped and now will be thinner. best bet is to get new rotors and pads.

the spoiler is looking nice paul.

well, some good news. the ticket got dropped to only 10mph over. so i will be getting back a little money and far less points.

cop was pretty cool, one of the only officers i have ever run in to that was courteous and professional throughout the entire process from ticket to court room.

so i am fairly happy with how it turned out.

as we were walking out of the court room i thanked him for recommending to the judge that the mph be dropped and told him he wouldn't see me again, to which he remarked "if i remember your car right someone will be seeing you. that car moves!"

Good to hear. So how many points is that? Three for 10 over?

Did Dave get another ticket too?

2 points for 10 over.

No, I haven't gotten another ticket since my double ticket incident.

like dave said 2 points. i'm happy with that. it would have otherwise been 5 points. so i am considering it a net gain.
