Man what a weekend so far. The skin is flaking off my fingers. I'm not used to working on cars anymore. Got a leet Jun BL exhaust on my car a couple weeks back, but wanted to quiet it down so yesterday I made the sickest inline muffler to put on it and now the car sounds ****. Put in a full HID kit and we are rockin! Yesterday we tore the engine/tranny/tx/driveshaft out of my buddys DSM (the on I put a video up about a month back about). We are stripping the **** out of it to put in a new clean repainted california GSX shell. Then travis is coming over today for the inline muffler treatment to quiet his car down a bit as well. I still have yet to work on my own DSM where I need to replace the busted clutch, remove the gas tank, 1650cc injectors, fuel pump work, gas tank work, drop another 100lbs, and do some testing on the methanol system.

Today travis is my b1tch. I'm having him cut and grind the metal and I'll sit back and drink coffee till I'm ready to weld it all up. Don't tell him but I'm giving him a dull hack saw to start cutting with.

i wish i could find 100 safe pounds to take out. Everything i consider has major consequences if i get in an accident.

Travis actually cut both flanges off his test pipe just fine. About half the teeth were broken off on the hack saw and I put it in backwards but the pipe was so rusted that it wasn't a big deal for him, bummer.

I've got a 6 pt roll bar, every pound is a safe pound. I went with the cheap china HID's. It works fine on travis's car, the jury is still out on mine.

Got the DSM tore the f8ck apart today. I think my friends car is going to be quick. We've got enough spare trannies, engines, rear ends, tx cases, driveshafts, and axles so we should be in good shape.

We actually have enough spare rear ends that we probably aren't even going to save the one in the car we are junking. In either of our cars, we've come to the conclusion that its impossible to do more than $200 worth of damage at any one time while racing. The most expensive parts are the clutches, and the bill for those typically is more than the KBB value of the car! LOL

Cut right through the pipe with minimal effort, pos Chinese ebay test pipe - I give the attempt at a great joke an "A"......but the outcome was a big fat "FAIL".

Nice part is I have a "catalytic converter" back on my car and it is much quieter now....my car is probably extremely slow now but oh well.

We weld up ****, fab up ****, and you just put put around with your little ebo being a lamoooooooo fgt looser. "Oh, I'm going to put in new lightbulbs and change my oil". "Dan weld a muffler to my exhaust so that my girlfriend doesn't get mad at me".
