Put it this way, my friend tried to ship a lip from his Sti using greyhound. Well
looked like they were short on room so what did they do? Folded the box in half.
So imagine what happens to fiber glass lip folded in half...Don't think carbon fiber
will fare any better.

Seems you had again some knock between your 1/2 shift....Keep an eye on that if it continues to knock between shifts you may need to have the map smoothed some. I know a lot of tuners don't really concentrate on smoothing the transitions from off boost into boost and other areas where to much of a timing jump can cause knock. With good reason - it takes time and would cost you more money.

Those are good logs to check and see how the car is running in a drag type pull where you ripping through gears, I always do these kind of logs to check the work that I did from tuning in 3rd gear.

Get some good logs in 3rd gear from 2500 rpms to 7500 rpms, that will help see problem areas where it makes a transition.....even grab 4th for a few seconds (if u can) to get a nice view of your in-between shift stuff.
OK thanks for the info. I will go do a 3rd gear run as soon as the weather gets a litter nicer out. Also how would i go about getting rid of the knock and making the transitions smoother.

call off of work. it will be worth it.

here are our points catagories:

1.) Driftability ( ____ / 10)

2.) Style ( ____ / 10)

3.) Off Course ( ____ / 5)

4.) Kicking Up Snow ( ____ / 10)

5.) Brake Malfunction ( ____ / 5)

6.) Bad Start ( ____ / 5)

7.) Dangerous Finish ( ____ / 5)

i'm assuming that brake malfunction will be BIG points for the RS's in attendance.

and like i said, 100 bonus for rolling your car. unless you happen to driving my car at the time. then it's -500 points and you gotta buy me a new car

i had a nice little group of spetators watching me go apesh*t this morning in the empty unplowed parking lots.

there is something very fulfilling about a large, empty parking covered in virgin snow fall.

Anyone know if I can fit 4 (or 2 or 3) stock size tires in the trunk? I need to get snows, but I'll need to transport my current tires home.
