ok, message to anyone planning on going this saturday to the snoX up at beaver.

we're going to have a little friendly competition. i've put together a points sheets.

3 runs, judged on various different criteria. total of 150 points. whoever gets the most points wins a fantastic and wonderful prize.

anyone interesting in competing in this? post up and let me know so i know how many copies of the points sheets to make. should make for an interesting piece of the event.

Not a whole lot of info to be garnered there.

Try stating at 2,000 rpms and going to WOT in third gear.

Also, dont lift in the middle of your run. The only thing i saw when i looked at it was that your IDC's reach 96% around 6500. Probably partially because its cold out. I think i read that Evoscan has a "buffer" built in to where it is 8-10 percentage points lower than the number it records. So maybe you are only around 86%. Maybe trav knows the answer to that. If not, your injectors may be close to going static at that point....

Looks like the first log is 2nd/3rd/ and a quick shift to 4th?. A little knock between shifts which is not uncommon, other than that looks like a clean pull.

The second part looks to be 1st/2nd/ and part of 3rd gear? Seems you had again some knock between your 1/2 shift....Keep an eye on that if it continues to knock between shifts you may need to have the map smoothed some. I know a lot of tuners don't really concentrate on smoothing the transitions from off boost into boost and other areas where to much of a timing jump can cause knock. With good reason - it takes time and would cost you more money.

Those are good logs to check and see how the car is running in a drag type pull where you ripping through gears, I always do these kind of logs to check the work that I did from tuning in 3rd gear.

Get some good logs in 3rd gear from 2500 rpms to 7500 rpms, that will help see problem areas where it makes a transition.....even grab 4th for a few seconds (if u can) to get a nice view of your in-between shift stuff.
