This is what we should do! As origonally planned, we should all meet at Ruby Teusday's around 2:00 on April 12 and only that day...as planned. From there we can have lunch and move as a group to a different location because I know that a lot of restaurant will not allow a large club to meet in their parking lot because it detours too many customers away...so they will probably ask us to leave...not call the damn cops! I think we should try to get to either the dealer or Pruven Performance.

1) Meet @ Ruby Tuesday's and have the meet there
2) Meet @ Ruby Tuesday's and go to the dealer (if possible)
3) Meet @ Ruby Tuesday's and go to Pruven Performance
4) Meet @ Ruby Tuesday's and decide where to go from there

yeah, the mitsubishi dealership is almost right on top of the pike, 10 minute drive tops. But who knows, nothin's sayin we cant organize the get togethers elsewhere or even try to have more this summer ^_^x

The reason we cant hang out at ruby tuesday's is because its a saturday on the Berlin Turnpike. Complaining or not, cops cruise the pike looking to break up groups that are just hanging out.

They drive through all the parking lots, even behind Lowes (which is taken by a group of VW's)

It happens all the time, every week. Hanging out at a parking lot at the pike is not reccomended. They break up groups as small as 4 or 5 cars.

i like the idea of goin to that place n gettin dyno runs. that sounds like a hot little get together.

I'd roll with anyone, but I'm goin' late. Then I gotta go to LI, pick up my gf then drive back up. Might be able to talk her into driving down here, but I guess we'll see.

BTW: For anyone who may have wanted to book a room, Foxwoods is totally booked that night according to their site. On the up side there are about a bajillion hotels and motels only a stone's throw away from the casino. For the love of Pete is anyone gonna gamble away their earnings with me?!

EDIT: Oh, and I'm all for going to Pruven if they'll have us. I'll prolly just end up getting there late is all.

 

mayeb we should have a new thread with that poll so we know what everyone wants.... personally, I wouldn't mind going to pruven, been wanting to know what my evo makes at the wheel every since I got it.

 

er....just mapquest pruven, it 150 miles from boston, maybe somewhere a 'lil closer.....

If we go to pruven we can look at thier race car - see thier EVO with the mods they are making and going to be selling - and we have a big clean parking lot in which we could stuff well over 100 cars and no worries about any police hassels - - if any one wants to do dyno pulls - they can


We did a subaru WRX dyno day there last year - it wasa great day and was a lot of fun
