Yeah I don't think that for the first meet we should meet at one spot and travel another 45 minutes to another. I feel that we should go to the dealership now. If Pruven was so willing to host us they will obviously do it later this summer again. I know people think that the dyno is great and all, but how many cars do you think that they can do in a few hours? Probably about 5-6 tops. Lets go to the delership for the first meet!

Lets here your opinions boys!

Someone suggested that we should take a poll on where we should go after we all meet at Ruby Tuesday's and finish eating. Well guys here it is! Place your votes and lets put this location problem in its final resting place! I feel that the majority should rule in the poll. Which-ever option has the most votes s what should go on....no discussion and no ranting.

The last subaru dyno day I did over there we had almost 100 total cars show up for free pizza and soda and we did about 25 dyno runs over a 12 hour period - I scheduled them all day from 9: am and we ran till after 1130 p. at night

Personally - hanging out at a dealership is about as appealing to me as hanging at a dentist for a root canal - - most salesmen are a buntch of super slimey scam artists who know practically nothing about cars or performance - - they are more interested in making $$ and screwing customers with unfair finacing and overpriced options and dealer add ons

If the weather is nice I'll prob stop by the Ruby's to say hello - but I don't think I'll be hangin at any dealsrhips any time soon - - I really just don't have anything in common with them - - the best thing I can do is keep my car far away from them so they don't get a chance to void out my warranty

is one GREAT car - my EVO is an amazing ride - - but the entire in the USA leaves a lot to be desired

The worst thing about having an EVO so far has been the limited interaction I have had to have with dealers to buy it and get a small ietm fixed under warranty (they jacked my car up by the gas tank - real winners)

Thats why I was thinking to suggest we meet at a high performance aftermarket vendor - - their mentality is more along the lines of what is in my mind

I am sure that pruven would be willing to throw us a nice event sometime over the summer - you'll just have to check with thier racing schuel and pcik a date they will be there

BTW - who is going to the DSM shootout at E'town on the 26th?

Alfried you bring up great points........ but the simple fact is that you want us to deviate from a plan that we've been workin on for about 3 months............. If we had known ahead of time it would have been easy to schedule the meet right at Pruven, and that will probably happen next time............. None of us have ever planned a meet before as you can probably tell and we are trying the best we can........ It was a great idea of Jack to contact the Mitsu dealer and hopefully it works out.......... But if it doesn't then Pruven it is............ None the less though Pruven will def be the spot for the Summer time meet I'm assuming.

the guys at schaller are mad cool, and what they are talking to me about is something after hours. Its not like some dealer tour, its just them letting us use their lot. Sure, someone from their dealership will be around to watch us, but they will be a volunteer and WANT to be there. If anything, we will be coming in at the end of an event they are already hosting, so some other mitsu tuners are probably gonna be leftover from the BBQ.

These guys are cool. They dont want to sell us cars, hell we already have em! thats the point!

Schaller is very cool.

OneEyedJAck,

Could you be more specific?

Was that a yes or a no?
What time is "after hours" for the dealer?
Can we show up for the BBQ? If not, then what are we going to do in the meantime after eating at Ruby's?

Does anyone know what's the forecast for next weekend?
