Aawwwwwwwww Yeeeeeeaah! Guess who just put their deposit down on their brand new EB '05 GSR

Finally bought it from a dealer up in Chicago. Got it for what I was asking. No haggling either. Screw these Columbus dealers. Delivery in about 2 weeks - coming straight from port in CA.

Can't wait to start rockin it in the Evo. We'll have to meet up when I get it. Thanks for all the help, fellahs.

 

seems like every one forgot about the two dealerships in Dayton, but they are nothing special. I was lucky and bought mine from Jeff Schmitt but the service sucks. just my 2 cents, and congrats with your purchase.

Were going to have an organized columbus evo group.

 

there are meets just about every weekend in columbus wiht a bunch of cars. Usually at Hooters parking lot at 11 o'clock fridays and/or saturdays depending on the weather.

Yes this is a meet for all types of cars like sprayed vipers, sprayed Z06's, Sprayed camaroes, supras, Cobra's ect... There are quite a few cool cars

Ricer turnout has been low to none and we usaully tell them to leave.

I think that we could also have an EVO only meet too. I only posted about the hooters meet because i would like to see more evo's come out. I've yet to be beaten by another evo within the last year or so

 

actually sounds like a nice turn out. But how's the ppl there? No offense, but to me, seems like massive smack talking and all that stuff going on there...and seems a bit too much American muscle than preferred? I don't know...

I just want to go and look at other ppl's cars...that's all I want to do and that's what I love doing...I don't want to put up with some sprayed Z06 guy's BS...I know he can beat me, that's why I don't even want to try to race him...so he shouldn't even start...
Any one of those guys can beat a stock Evo in a straight line...sometimes ppl don't know there's other types of racing...like on a road course.

but regardless I'll come this saturday, if as you say the weather's nice and hopefully there will be a good turnout. Look for another Apex Silver

 

Totally agree with ya and it seems to be the consensus amoung most of the evo guys here. I'm not about to waste a perfectly good friday or sat night listening to some bs in a parking lot.

But I agree with the evo only meet. We need to get something like that organized.

 

most of the guys are pretty nice and are not cocky. They are cool once you get to know them and you can get on the columbus racing forums.
