Anybody With GT30 or GT35 Setup In the Boston Area?

I'm interested in buying one of the turbo setups in the near future, and having read some of the posts on EvoM, I feel like I would need to experience the power and driveabilities of these turbos first hand before making a decision.

If possible, I would like to sit in your car while you step on it a bit. No need for crazy and illegal runs. Just accelerate while merging onto a highway so I can get a rough idea of the car's power. I would also like to see how it drives off boost, and talk to you about the reliability of the car.

I can't offer much, but at least I'll buy you lunch or something. And I promise to take a shower and wear clean clothing.

Thanks in advance who anybody who can help out . Hopefully I'll be able to experience both setups and have a more solid idea about which way I want to go.

Do you plan on drag racing a lot or is this a street car? A GT35R might be a tiny bit overkill (annoying) for the street.

I know I'll probably end up with a GT30 setup, but I wanted to experience a GT35 setup before I make a final decision.

That way, I'll have no regrets.

You could contact DSG and ask about their customer cars. I know they've at least done some GT35 or GT40 Sti's and I think some evos as well.

Not sure if you can arrange a ride in one though.

I agree that this not a good street setup.

You should also give the TME turbo or the White Rabbit a look. Near stock spool time with some added bonus power. The WR is fairly new and unproven yet, but the TME has good results.

I have the TME on my car right now. It's a great turbo, but I guess I'm just looking for that rush that a bigger turbo can give me.

If you are looking to get rid of it, I might be interested.

I'll keep you updated.

Hopefully I'll find somebody who can help out. I really want to get an idea of what the setup(s) will be like.
