I love my Turbotrix tuned IX. Here are some examples of why dynos can be dangerous:

TurboTrix or Sean Ivey!
Turbotrix- are always busy and a long wait time, but they know what they are doing.
Sean Ivey- he takes his own sweet time to tune the car and make 200% sure everything is right.

I am a HUGE NEWB for asking this, but who is "Sean Ivey" and what shop does he work out of? Since so many of you have great things to say about him, I would like to check him out.
Thanks
To answer my own question Sean Ivey works out of 1320 performance. I spoke with him and he seems like a very knowledgable tuner. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

we went to TT with 3sgteguru to get his IX tuned and we only waited a week for the appoinment. Great service and his IX is a whole new beast after the tune. We did get to watch the car run on the dyno http://www.skylineracer.info/dyno1.htm
i do kno and understand how dangerous dynos are cause i was in a car once that almost jumped the dyno. and it is best to stay back.

Between the two I would say TT. Had two friends go there and they recommended them. Another option might be Nolimitmotorsport in Medford, NY. They were awesome to me Did my clutch install on a sunday and dropped me off wherever I wanted to go to wait, movies, mall, etc.
