i had made a thread a while ago about getting pulled over for street racing while stoped at a red light in philly, and today was my court date. my lawyer couldnt make it so i had to go at it alone, and i think i did alright. got the ticket taken down from 450 to 200, no points and no suspension. not bad for my first time i think. clearly philly just wants your money.

by the way, the courts here are a total zoo. the place is insane

Great Job on talking your way through. Glad you were able to walk out of there, and not calling for a ride home. Call your lawyer for a visit, when he shows up, kick him in the nuts and grab $200 from his wallet

doubt i should kick my lawyer in the nuts, it is my girlfriends father. he had another case this morning, which i knew about for weeks. thats why i wanted the continuance but philly's courts are so messed up that they never got my letter, fax, e-mail or voicemail....
