Most of the time at Porsche events I stage my car at the end of the line and go 6+ cars or so ahead to get a ride. The course can look very different at speed. Ya just gotta hope that the driver stays on course.
How many of you drivers got a chance to ride with Mike C, the instructor? Or let him drive your car?
That's true Turco. I drove with him twice, once he was co-driver in my car and the next run, I trusted him enough to let him drive my car with me in the passenger seat. He was fast, yet totally in control, it really taught me a bit more about my car and how to attack the course for a faster time...(and yes I'd love a ride in the Screaming Green Beast as well, lol)

www.bristolrun.com They need some sort of a head count because there will be food and music.
Damn! Too bad I'm away for work, I grew up only a few miles from CSP. They have some great meets/cruises through there in the summer months, and it's a awsome place to take pics. Newport is another good spot too.

Last year he and Charles (red turbo) were about even on their times, from what I remember. I was a 3-4 seconds behind them, running on my street (MPS Cup) tires. I have not run against Mike this year because he blew his engine at the start of the season, only just getting it back. Maybe I will see him Sunday at the BMW event.

I ended up having 4 instructors drive my car... Mike C, Dan (i think, co driver with John Winchester in an Evo), and two other guys whose names escape me... and I am very glad that I did... it's amazing to see what your own car can do, even in the hands of someone who's driving it for the first time...

So...the question now is - how bad is it to drive with one of the Advans mounted the wrong way? I wanted to go to the track this Friday night, but Sullivan can not get me in to fix their mistake until Sat morning I suppose I could put all four stockers back on...thoughts?

If your evo was at proper weight you could tow it with the S10

S10 w/ 4banger is rated for 1500lbs or something stupid. The damn trailer will be almost that much

1000lb trailer, + 500lb evo = win.
