I don't think you should compare quotes from different people, as there are too many things too consider (driving record of the owner, driving record of the person they live with, where they live, whether it is garaged or not, whether they have an alarm/recovery system, drive less than x,xxx miles per year...). However different quotes from the same person are obviously good. I need to switch mine...Liberty Mutual would be worth checking out then? Anyone else have any luck with another company?

(even with my not so great record)
correction: my yearly rate went from 1653 to 966/year. almost $687 i saved going to progressive.

progressive is the *****. i had it when i lived in RI, but had to ditch it when i moved back to MA because it was not offered at the time. will be switching back asap once im home. the savings were awsome
