I hate my work schedule...7:30-5:30 & every 3rd saturday 8-4
Seriously, we went this past Sunday, but the dealer was closed. Elesha loves the new X just as much if not more than I do. And she wanted to drive one. I just do not want to spend any $$ right now if I do not have to.....it is gonna have to wait a bit.
ATTN: Bill, part # and price on a factory windshield for a 2003 Evolution VIII Please. jUST Need it for an estimate

Kenny- Robispec pretty much has the X dialed in in all the areas for suspension. Everyone raves about the ride after teh install is done. Even if you went with the KW3's and his alignment you should be all set. Apparently he is worth every penny. And will go to any lenght to make sure your car is completely setup properly. Even some of the bigger tuners on here had hime come out to setup their X.
Also, I called 2 places so far: Tint King and a place back home in PA. $250 at both places for 35% all around. You guys recommend anywhere else I should call for a price?
I heard he was in CT recently. That would be ideal if he came back to NE and I could get him to do my alignment. If I hear hes coming back, i might pull the trigger on coilovers and alignment. I'll have to see tho, this car needs to get lowered quick, so springs may be the way to go for now. I'll have to do some research.

Robispec is like any of the big name shops buschur, AMS ect. Understand why people use him and then make your decision. Just because everyone uses him doesnt mean he is the best or even good (not saying he isnt). I personally would just get springs and get the car aligned locally, we can recommend a few good shops. I dont think the money of robi is worth the end result.
Tint king is really your best bet i think.

I like the KWs and once i get rolling with this car, i would like to track it a decent amount. If I actually track it as much as I'd like to, i think coilovers would be the obvious way to go. Dont think im just gonna hop and a bandwagon and go w/ robi tho, i'm not like that. I pretty much read into everything and think about all my options before doing something. Robi is just something ive considered while im trying to figure out my insane wheelgap situation
My only issue is - I dont see myself or my driving skills being that competitive any time in the near future, and for the price - springs and good alignment settings will get me 90% of the way there.
I don't think its worth paying multiple times the price for a robispec setup for that last 10%.
if you were going to track the car competitively, I would say go for a Robispec setup. Many times he uses custom spring rates and valving on his coilovers, coupled with his experience on suspension tuning.
