But your clutch can and will slip when it is depressed when it can no longer handle the power (torque) being transferred from the engine.

Let me know if anything does not make sense...
naw i think i had it correct... i was udner the impression that clutch engaged meant the clutch pedal was not depressed and the pressure plate was holding the clutch against the flywheel thus connecting the crank to the tranny. i was also in gear at the time meaning the power should have been going to the wheels. either way when that happened i was not shifting at all, just sending power to the wheels normally.

yeah...she truely loved it...just the vast amount of courtesy-lacking-dumb-folk made our day not as enjoyable. Samantha loved the bright colors in the tropical tanks, and my all-time favorite the sea turtle. We are going to pick a day mid-week next time and do the whale watch tour then maybe one of the imax shows too. I vote on weekend visits, unless I am drunk and without the baby

take a few 'fin du mondes'- that should get the job done.

i think my fish is finally dead. he's no longer red- just a funky pale color. i'm trying to figure out how to dispose of him. i really feel bad about flushing him while he's alive. turco recommended the garbage disposal.....

Wait...I'm confused now. Your clutch was not engaged, yet you were in gear with the clutch engaged?? Basically you were cruising as normal, stepped on it a little (clutch engaged!), and your RPM shot up. Didn't mean to cause more confusion with the terminology, but figured it would be worth explaining.

Anyways, as long as it doesn't happen again, I wouldn't worry about it.

I ordered the springs and bolts for the DP on Sat. I'll pick them up on Wed. I got my serial adapter/cable all set up for the UEGO. I plan on working on the car on Wed night and hopefully finishing everything by the end of the weekend.

I need more time to do things

Seriously. Ask Elesha next time I get her down there with me, what she did with our beta fish...She so tossed his a$$ in the garbage disposal

Glad I was at work when she did this. I feel a lil less guilty.....His name was 'Mr. ****'.
