I dont think it is equity if it is worth less then you paid for it. It is an asset no doubt.

haha no squirrels. It is the second time it happened. I know the constant power source fuse isnt blown. I will pull them out and poke around. They are daisy chained for power so i will see if something is up.

Sick. I personally perfer the pop ups. I'm a fan of pop ups in general. 97-01 blk/blk targa is my dream ride...

Yeah man, the NSX looks wierd next to the Evo. I have pics of mine next to this one at work. Its WAAAY bigger lol.

EDIT: I would *settle* for a white or yellow NSX as well white is the new black

....you are right. But not paying on it, and it being worth what it is, I look at it as equity (I am retared). As not too many cars maintain their value like ours.

Its sad, but Elesha's 2006 Volvo S80 w/28k miles is worth about as much as my Evo right now for resale. Her car sticked for $46k when new.

the evo def maintains it's value very well which is pretty sweet.

46k? damn. it must be fully loaded? awd w/ the v8? or atleast the twin turbo i6 if its the older s80? those actually move pretty good. they impressed me big time when i worked at volvo.

i'm actually surprised at how well they maintain value- it's a car that people don't seem to want to buy used since they are afraid of people beating the snot out of them. you would think that would kill the price. of course, since they just came out with the evoX which is a completely different car, that might be helping.

Really? I like the fixed headlight NSX way better

NSX's are sick but I think I like going fast too much I'd have to give the nod to Z06 or the new ZR-1 as my dream ride.

Yeah equity is techincally incorrect because the value is decreasing. It's a depreciating asset. You could treat it as equity if you also included your unrealized loss that you've been incurring through depreciation. Sorry, the accounting nerd in me is getting out

Nope...it has the 2.5 inline 5 turbo. But yes, loaded.

The V8 started in model year '07 (new body style). She wants to upgrade to an '08 S80 V8, and seeing that I work for Volvo, it wouldn't cost us a penny more than what we are spending now on her car. But we will see. I am suppose to be the one to get the new car next, not her
