We have got to get some Stickypod shots in the daytime. Then we'll be able to get rolling shots of cars side-by-side from the rear bumper with a sweet sense of speed.

As for the "friend," I feel like the pics could get him into some hot water and he was super cool. I need all the friends I can get considering they knew exactly where I live.

Good point, considering we all tend to be there as well. I dont think any of us want the heat.

99% sure this is going to be my set up 18 x 9 +34 offset, swift springs already there, and Falken FK-452, as far as I know, no rolling needed I read some pretty good reviews on these tires and they seem the best bang for the buck

Sounds nice man. From everything i've heard with 18x9 +34 you do have to roll the rear fenders and run spacers in the front. Especially if you're lowered.

May want to double-check that

Forget rain. Get the RT-615s.

this was a quote from a guy with the same rims... (he was on teins)

Yes, I was assured by the last evo owner (he was dropped lower than me for sure) that they would fit perfectly, and they DID!
No spacers or hub rings needed.
The offset at +34 is absolutely a flawless fit with no rubbing. I was going to look at some +29 wheels but i am GLAD i went with these. NO ISSUES.

and another, different person

18x9 +34 offset 245/40/18 dunlop tires
This is on tein stech springs and the fitment is perfect. There is no rubbing at all. I didn't have to roll the fenders. Hope that helps, good luck bro

So, I guess I'll find out on swifts! but I think Teins were lower than mine...

Cool, you should be fine then. I was looking at 18x9 Torques with that offset and was told that I'd need the rolling and spacers...but it seems like evidence with these points toward not.

Just FYI, with 245s on 18x8 +35 and lowered (a teeeeeny bit less than you). My front tires rub on my splash guard at full lock. And at 75% or more if I'm hitting bumps or going on an incline (into the driveway).

Oh, i see they're running 245s... weird. But I guess there'd be no issues then.

245s on 9 inch rims is stretching the rubber, no? seems like an odd fitment to me.

It is, I was going to go with a wide wheel but all of my friends advised me against it on the road. They said it makes street driving somewhat difficult, but that was with 255s. 245s are stretched on a wheel that big. I am interested to see if anything rubs, if not, the 18x9 torques might be considered again.

I had the Falken 451s and they were an awesome tire, a little squishy though. I heard good things about the 452s. But l am partial to the RT-615s, there is really no better street performance tire for the money.
