yea, at a light, first gear, clutch down....*thought* I was completely stopped...but I was on a very slight hill so my guess is it was that and nothing major...just scared the sh*t out of me when it just kept revving...probably nothing..

 

Vegas is your car still up there or back home now?

 

I would try it again, make sure the clutch is pressed all the way and you aren't moving. You would be surprised how sensitive the speed sensor is. Has it ever worked before? I can check it on saturday if it doesnt work.

He got it towed last night. The cop said not to leave the car or it would have been stripped.

 

yea, tried 2 times prior and both worked...had to have been slightly moving last night...

this reminds me of when i was trying to set my shift light last night. i was cruising down the highway, threw the car in neutral and was trying to hold the revs at 8500 rpm and turn the [small] dial on the light to set it.

the people on the highway must have thought it was nuts. i think i got it in the ball park, though. we'll see.
