the scca is having a little gtg for members & non-members too. Cost will be $65 for 3 sessions and dinner (pizza). Should be a good time!

How long are the sessions? Thats a hike for me but you never know...
They're long enough that you;re arms will be wore-out after the first one from controlling the car. I think like 8-9 minutes long. I'm usually sore the next day or two after karting but I'm out of shape
So 8-9 minute sessions would tell me there around 20laps a piece or so? How long is the track? It's in-doors no?
*you're = your... too early on a monday for me.
Laps are around the 32-36 second range depending on how fast/slow you are. Its all indoors and there should be some pretty good drivers there since its an SCCA gathering. NOt to mention its all car guys.
I really want to try the kart course @ NJMP out, from the pics I've seen it looks pretty bad ***. How fast are they?

They go pretty quick. We were on a course that was .48 of a mile and my fastlap was right around 46sec I think. Keep in mind it was wet, but we did get somewhat of a dry line towards the end. The brakes were almost non-existant and I wore out my right front (it went flat as I took the checkers on my last lap)
here's the link, we were on the Avenger course. http://njmp.com/tracks.html#
I really enjoyed it, it's kind of expensive but you do get a lot of seat time. Sounds like the SCCA thing is similar to this in terms of seat time...
