I have the Greddy counterweight knob. I love it, but it does get kind of hot in the summer (I don't mind it in the winter). I'm thinking of getting the Works knob. Heavier than stock, but I don't think it gets as hot as hot.

 

I saw you had that Greddy knob the other night. I wanna get that one too.
I had the diamond shaped one in my Supra and loved it. But man did that sucker burn the **** outta my hands in the summer.

eh, I dont mind it. The Works knob is a very nice piece. CBRD has it in one of their cars.

 

Tim, how do you plan to get there? you going to drive or drive somewhere and take the train (R6). I have a buddy who lives on Green Lane and is having a party. Don't know if I am going yet though.

I know a girl who several years ago went to the bike race. She parked behind the Bayou in the alley. Got drunk. Got it on with some dude who drove her back to where her car was. She couldn't find it. Reported it stolen. Insurance replaced her car. Six months later she was back in manayunk looking for a parking spot when she came across her car parked in the same spot she left it. It was untouched. She got so drunk she forgot where she parked and got a new car through insurance. Pretty funny if you ask me. Gotta keep those rates high.

 

I had the Greddy in my VIII. Hottest shift knob I've ever had! I actually used a soft sunglass case over it so I could shift. You can actually burn yourself on it in the summer.

Send me a text or something if you are going tomorrow. I will be on Lyceum Ave which is "The Wall" I think. I always just drive in about 8:30am. I just find a spot along the street somewhere. I usually end up walking a few blocks to my party.

 

i thought leverington is the wall. guess one or both of us will find out tomorrow. i'm going out tonight in manayunk for the polish bike race on leverington so don't know how up and at em i'll tomorrow. that is the determining factor

im so damn excited, i did my MBC today and its holding perfect at stock boost. i cant wait for my APAT tune

 

actually it is down. people build something to ride and get drunk then ride down the hill. fun times.

 

Levering turns into Lyceum I think.

I have never been to the polish race. I've heard some good stories about it though. I hear it is quite entertaining. Take some pics of people's rides...

 

hahaha, that sounds like an amazingly fun time. its funny cause they go up the hill in the real race. im all polish hahaha
