Actually, I think your estimate is a little low. I counted over 50 total cars including our Evo's on Tuesday night. They kept rolling in even after you left. We stayed until almost 10pm.

All I know is there were allot of BLUE Evo's!

Chu, sorry to hear that the car is giving you troubles again... seems to never end huh?

On a posi note for me, I got my flywheel today. I need to talk to Adam at the next autox and figure out when I can have this stuff installed. Although, I'm buying my parents house so $ might be an issue... have to wait and see.

Ehhh, not really a problem. THe way my car gets used, I dont doubt these things coming up here and there. I had a huge backfire on the way home from Delaware yesterday, and now wondering if that could have burned the 02 sensor.

Backfire is never really good... hopefully you can get that stuff taken care of in a timely fashion. You don't want to be driving around with your o2's a screwed up, your gas mileage will take a serious ish...

You can get a used one for under a buck Johnny. NEw ones are over $400 each. I bought a mint one from the part out section after getting quoted from mitsubishiparts.net. Paid $75 for mine.

Curious as to what you guy's suggest I run for tranny fluid...?

I'm using AMSOIL now, seems to be OK. Can't say I notice a difference over the OE Diaqueen... Any of you guy's use Redline MT90? Not sure what route I want to take when I have my clutch done?

Chu, you did a clutch recently, what did you use?

Pete, I'm using Amsoil right now also, for the entire drivetrain. I heard the MT-90 isn't that great, and the light and heavy shock proof have to changed accorsing to season. There really shouldn't be any dramatic differences in shift feel, but the Amsoil has great ware protection, and thats why I went with it. Pistol and a few others have recently switch to Amsoil also, and I haven't heard any complaints. You will need fluids for the TC also, and I feel the severe gear has quiet down my tc some.

Pete- I run RP 75w90 in the trans & redline heavyweight shockproof (pink stuff) for the TC and rear.
102k "easy" miles and the car is still running strong.

Chu, I do think my trans is a little notchy when it's cold (in the winter) but it goes away after a few minutes of driving. I only noticed that when I switched to AMS... The severe gear that you mention, is that AMSOIL also? I have Diaqueen in there now...

yeah tower shots were cool. the wind really kills the sound for the camera.

back to fluids. i plan to get my tranny, tc and diff oil changed soon. should i just go to JNZ or somewhere? i don't know if i want to take that on myself. i foresee a huge freaking mess in my garage. who on here changes those fluids themselves? and is it as hard as i think it looks?
