Philadelphia Car Meets
Check your alternator too, something is goofy there. Both my Braille and Deka (small) batteries are toast now, but my car is fine running until I shut it off (even with headlights on), then I can't start it. My guess its the alternator.
or maybe it was Travis driving your car, that could screw anything up....
I bet your ears are still sore from all that talkin you heard with him in the car!

sorry, no go-pro for this one. and I don't blame you about the wheels, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve this year too.

only thing different is that I wish I would have paid more attention in HS. I also wish I had a nickle for everytime an adult told me that exact thing when I was a teenager. hows that saying go... "ask a teenager now while they still know everything". so true.
everyone seemed to have their fastest time at the end of the day, wonder how much faster I would have been had I stuck around. So you guys who was at Wachovia yesterday remembers my car didn't want to start and seemed like it was not getting any power, although all the electronics worked. Well, it did it again earlier, and had to get jumped again. I'm suspecting the fusible link is blown. Any ideas?
if a fuse was blown causing it to not start a jump wouldn't have done anything to fix it. was the starter spinning and it just wasn't turning over or would it not even crank? the good thing about a no start condition is that its either got to be a fuel or spark problem.

@ that last part, that dude talks!
Chu, don't feel bad... my Accord battery is dying. I got it serviced today at the dealer, they told me it needed to be replaced last year when they had it. They told be again today... it only has 255 CCA.
I'll be surprised if it makes it through the week.
Now buy the RED!!!

Well, drove to the gym earlier and got the P0335, Crank Position Sensor. It turned off on its own however when I started it up, leaving the gym. It has to be an electric connection somewhere.
Mike, my co-driver was Chris, last name Travis? How did you know I had a co-driver? He does talk, and high-fived a lot, but he was okay. Gave me some good pointers. Made me see how much faster my car really was and what I should at least be doing. Even paid for my entry fee at the end of the day.
I bet Pete's got some 17/18x9.5 +38 RPF1s, or +18 since he's so against running spacers, alittle rolling in the rear doesn't hurt anyone!

Chu I really think you have a dying battery. That battery was dead when I jumped it. Thats why it took so long to charge up and turnover. Cold tends to really f up a battery. To make matters worse you jad several runs that built up heat underhood which is also bad. The fact that it started afte we left the show tells me the alternator works but it was dead this morning. It doesnt take nearly as much amperage to run the electronics as it does to turn the starter. Next time watch the interior light when you try to crank it. If it dims but the starter just clicks then its probably the battery.

My stock battery went after the first really cold day we had back in mid December. If your battery has lasted this long in this winter then its probably not the battery. I don't see a reason why it would just go, batteries usually show signs of weakening towards failure. Check your voltage and electrolyte level.
Pete/Locals, I may come out to the Drafting Room on Friday.

Don't think I know this Chris Travis guy... sounds like a real character though. Hi-fiving alot is always a good time, reminds me of that Seinfeld episode.
