Philadelphia Car Meets
if you did, you'd have to get that on video haha
Its 2am. Just got home from Chinatown. Its pretty bad out, but the Blazzacks and AWD saved the day. I hate to be anyone without some type of 4 wheel drive in this weather. Saw a Scion TC lose control as I passed it on 95. CLassic moment...my buddy was like " damn, this car handles turns like a champ. Wish my car could do that." He drives a G35.
yeah man it sucks. I left for blue mt around 4pm. left blue around 10pm and it just started snowing there. So the whole trip home it got worse and worse. It got to the point where i couldn't see where the road in front of me goes.
Got through it tho. Took around 3hrs

This is bullsh**.
So I sold my car tuesday, and it snows this weekend. Im stuck with a 03 Maxima SE.
FWD failz. No fun
I hope wachovias lot is empty tomorrow though. Im heading up with some friends in their Audi's and Sti's up there for some fun, so it best be clear. If not, were hitting the parking lot near the distributor behind the Lincoln field.

, gotta find a local spot
I got snows, I should be able to go anywhere
The front end of my car was a plow last night, it was kicking up snow and covering the headlights and windshield. At 1am when we were shoveling we had 7.5" at my house. Don't think the Evo could have handled much more without more ground clearence, it drove fine, just kickin up way to much snow.
Pics...
My steep a$$ driveway...

My snow plow... I had to get out and brush off the headlights multiple times just so I could see.

no my wife's corrolla. fwd + no torque = staying on the road better than evo with crappy tires.
going down that hill on 113 into dtown was the worst part last night. i had to drag the brakes softly down the whole thing. her brake bias is way off too. too much bite in the back so that is how i initially got squirrelly a few times. plus i tried keeping the tires on the rumble strip when possible for added grip.
there was a cop behind me on 113 that lit up as i was going down the hill. i thought "you've got to be kidding me!" i think he was just trying to slow everyone down.

Drivin the wifes Rolla while you have a purebread at home is not acceptable IMO!
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say there a/s tires on her car too correct?
You would have been safer in the X, thats all I'm sayin.
Sorry we got there so late last night, it kind of cleared out a little bit after you two left. Its a shame you had to go when you did, we could have actually carried on a conversation as it was much quieter. I couldn't hear a ******* thing in there with all those people.

you'd have to try this thing in the snow with these tires. it's too *** happy and wants to turn itself around.
i also didn't think the snow was going to be that bad when we left.
it was good catching up with both you and ben and getting to meet shelly. last night could have turned fun if we were able to stay later. maybe next time.
Just got back from a trip around the area. Passed up a 18 wheeler stuck on an incline in the V.F. park, a Lexus GS stuck on an unplowed jug handle, and a postal truck spinning it's rear wheel trying to make it up a hill on route 23.
Need military grade GPS
so I can find the edge of the empty lots, don't want to bang into a curb or parking blocks.

That's awesome Pete. I assume you have some good snow's on that thing.
I wanted to go out and play last night, but didn't. Now it's time to go out and shovel. Fun stuff.
