i suggested that to pete yesterday. we were like 1/2 mile from one.

my ap couldn't read off of chu/pete's evo so far. i've pulled codes and reset an ecu on an viii before. guess it isnt the most reliable code reader out there.

Its running fine, boostin fine. I've never had the P0300 code with this car but it seems the code comes on as soon as I start it which makes me think it could be that. I believe thats when it usually happens isn't it? Anyone care to confirm that?

I guess I should just go to Autozone...

 

A loose EGR vacuum line will throw the code immediately also. Even if you clear it, it will come up *** soon as you start the engine.

 

Theres no real point in speculating what it is... I need to get it checked.
