Yea, before I bought it I didn't know it was a cast of a ported stock manifold. I just thought it was a ported stock manifold. I took measurements on it and took pictures and its not gasket matched at all. I guess I could port it. It didn't cost much. I've never ported before but I guess it would be good experience.

Other then that, get rid of that 03 turbo and upgrade to at least a 10.5 hotside, it will be the most bang for buck mod you can do and will transform the car almost as much as a tune!
Its stock. I honestly won't know how good a porting job there was on this until i see another stock 8 one or mine if I swap em. Aren't 10.5 hotsides just as expensive as a used IX turbo?

I had one for sale for weeks at around a hundred bucks. It took forever to get rid of the thing. The 10.5 is a good inexpensive upgrade.

Yeah. And a torch is AWESOME to have for anything exhaust related. Fire solves all your problems.

I have a feeling that after I finish my mods that my clutch will slip on the dyno while Petey tunes it. If anyone would come with me that day, and if that happens, blow my brains all over the parking lot, it would be highly appreciated.

Stock clutch 82k fml
