Ben is right. While the the essentric bolt says it gives you -2 in front, actual static camber will be roughly -1.6 to -1.8 at best after an alignment. Pete, if you look at the two bolts that mount the strut to the hub, the top one is the essentric bolt that needs to be flipped...there's a small arrow on there. On the rears, -1.2 is about max you could get...no essentric bolts in the rear.

If you could make it to R/T, I would recommend that. They've done numberous evos, so they are very fimiliar the platform. Pat was the mechanic that did my alignment, and it came out exactly to the specs I requested. But if Bimmerworks is your choice, just let them know where the essentric bolts are on the front.

No! I shouldn't have any influence on any of your guys on how you spend your money! Oh, the GoPro is mine, not Chau's. I gave him cash for it...

Kevin. Most of the parts on your list are simple installs. Could prolly do all of them in a day, minus the flywheel of course.

When you say flipped what exactly does that mean? I need to take it out and re-thread it back in from the other side?

Kevin, is that manifold the ebay one that is a cast of a ported one?

do you plan on putting a larger non stock location turbo on your car? If so don't bother with the mishimoto.

See to top bolt, and the arrow on it? The arrow is facing toward the car, means -1 degree. You want to unbolt it, pull it out, and put it back in with the arrow pointing away from the car for the -2 degree setting. Only after you do that can the shop get you a true alignment of up to -1.8 up front. There's only two positions it can fit, so you can't get it wrong. Oh, you will also have to just loosen the bottom bolt alittle.

My alignment is -1.5 front, -1 rear, 0 toe.

Is the Muse manny for a T3 flange or stock? I must say that a ported evo8 stock manny is very difficult to improve upon and quality of casting and materials is about as good and reliable as it gets

Other then that, get rid of that 03 turbo and upgrade to at least a 10.5 hotside, it will be the most bang for buck mod you can do and will transform the car almost as much as a tune!

BTW I am thinking of upgrading to the FP black before race season if I can sneak one past the she devil, I am at half court with the doublepumper,1200's, kelford 272, beehives, lifters, timing belt job at this point lol.. Second thought mabye I should just take care of that first before I get Chu's Syndrome..

We'll see how the FP black powered cars perform on the KHC dyno in the next few weeks or so..

What syndrome? All I bought were injectors? What's everyone talking about?

If someone local is looking for a 9 turbo, that might influence me to do a BBK Full...wait, am I hinting a f/s? I hope I get warned this time before more points are added.

It sucks not being able to ask the locals with having to deal with all the pointless pm's you will get in the classifieds section or lack of exposure to the right people in reigonal fs. If we all have over the minimum amout of posts to post there I cant see how it is any different here other then being off topic, which we always are anyway. Oh well

Pretty sure the Muse mani is for stock turbo. I know I've seen it on there before.

Now, now... the mods have been quiet all week, we needs not disturb them. I say keep the Red and upgrade the valvetrain, if your still not happy then pull the trigger. Is your Red the 64 or 80mm?
