Hey Chu, I was minutes away from pulling the trigger on the spoolinup COP. I'm just curious though, is it basically just wiring, the connectors and a plate? I know I have to grab coils, but I know I can just make the harness and plate myself. Just debating weather I should drop $300 complete or do it myself for $200.

Josh, I would just get the whole kit... that way its done, just plug in and go make some pulls.

Mat, that picture is great. Love your car dude!

Sna, I'm not doing all the work myself. I'm not capable of a lot of that stuff, I make an excellent gofur though...

Petey, how's the little lady? One of my closest friends is being enduced on the 26th.

Yeah Josh, you got it. Coils, wiring, 2 connectors, and the plate. Wiring shouldn't be too hard the way, and the plate it easily made, but he has a carbon one available so that might be something you'd like. BTW, I talked to my neighbor about the driveshaft bushing finally. Shouldn't cost too much, but I have requested 5 sets.

Matt the car looks awesome!

The carbon was all I cared about but then again I can make a low mount plate at work and just use the carbon cover I have. I already ordered the coils. The only thing I don't have is a good picture of the wiring or a diagram. I might just have to buck up and get his wiring harness or take a look at yours next weekend (unless you have some pics of the harness at both ends). I hate to spend the money. I have all the wiring, looms and solder and the connectors are only a few dollars. I had cash set aside for the 2.4L but I can't stop the misfiring at WOT unless I crank the boost way down. If I can do it cheap I can still get the block.

You're welcome to take a look at it in person next week to get a better idea. I will pull it off for you!

I installed the Sprak Tech COP unit a few days ago. My plugs were already gapped .028, so I just rechecked and took a ride (I am trying to use up my C16 in the tank). The car ran nice, nothing to report except it ran smooth as could be.
The only thing that was annoying is both my lightweight batteries are toast and driving with the Forge at partial throttle makes for a bucking bronco. This is the first time my car has seen the road in about a year, so I am not used to it. As far as performance gains, I do not know, my butt dyno is not calibrated yet!

I made the picture big so you could get a look at the COP unit, maybe it will help you in your project.
