Everyone, I'm trying to set up a group buy for weighted shift knobs made by Chris at WC Lathewerks. These knobs, as well as the vendor, is well known on NASIOC as the knob of choice due to its heavy weight, produce crisp, nice shifting. They are however, expensive, at $95 a pop for the heaviest steel sphere ones. Myself and PeteyTurbo can attest to these knobs as we have driven a local evo with one....very nice. Below is a website for info. Let me know if there's interest. I currently have 4 people on board for this.

UPDATE: WC Lathewerks Shift Knob

So Chris got back to me a few minutes ago. He said if I can get 10 or more buyers together, the price would be $85 each, a $10 savings per knob. That does not include shipping, but I dont mind eating the shipping charges. He would like to send all of the knobs to a single address, so I would guess my house, and I will contact all of you and drop them off in person once they arrive (hence my reason for keeping the group-buy local). However, I will need those interested to send me a PM with your full name, and email address so I can get this going as soon as possible. I will contact everyone by email once a group of at least 10 is finalized, so I can send out finalized details of what your order. I will ask that once the group is finalized that each person send me the cost of their purchase through Paypal, and I will palce the order. I will CC everyone in my coorespondence so that you all have details and status of the order once it's placed.

You guys crack me up... it's not even lunchtime on Monday.

I know what you mean though... I had the worst time getting up today and I went to bed @ 9:30 last night.

Carson, I'm unsure as of this point. I am waiting to hear back about pricing. However, I would think the more buyers we can get together, the lower the price will be.

I'll think it over and let you know. I passed them off before because of the price and came up with another idea for a knob that i'm waiting to hear back on, but I'll definitely keep this in mind.

I think I mentioned this last week (already seems like it was last month) but me and a couple friends are going to blow off some steam tonight @ LVGP. Monday madness - $50.00 for unlimited runs from 5:30-10pm.

your running w/trackdaze right... some of my friends will be there (two R32's, two Z4 M coupes & an infinity coupe).
I'll be at Lightning Friday w/PDA but might swing by to hang out on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will hold out for the weekend.
