Doug, is that the 100 or 150cell you got over there. I was looking at the 100 so I could still have the most possible flow. Let me know what you got. If you want to pm me a number that would be cool too.
Thanks man. I was just talking to my buddy this morning about getting a car cover. I want to make sure I get the right one. Anyone have any suggestions for a good Car Cover Company? It's going to be sitting outside so it definately has to have some good weather proofing.

chu, i just spent 20 minutes looking on autotrader at any make of car for 5000 and lower. i can't believe the majority of cars being sold have like 135k miles. i couldn't picture myself paying someone for something like and driving off the lot. the best i found was a base 2000 neon with 49k miles for 4900. manual and no tachometer. and a saturn vue with 63k miles for 4900 with what looks to be water damage.

it's been a long time since i searched for a cheap car and things really have changed. i got my 99 neon in college for 3k with 50k miles.

if i were to buy something with 100k+ miles, it would have to be for 2k and if it breaks in a year or two then i got my use out of it.

I know how you feel man. I've been searching on and off for about a year now. It's rediculous what people are asking for high mileage/old cars these days. I got frustrated everytime I went looking.....especially when I thought I found a few "Cherries" till I got to the lot and they were junk I'm really happy with this Mazda though. "Knock on Wood" though, we'll see how she's holds up.

Before the evo, I paid $2500 for an 96' Integra GSR with 245k on the odometer. Body was clean and had no accident history. Another plus was it was owned by an Acura mechanic since new. Thinking I was gonna rebuild the motor anyways, but never got to since the car never gave me any problems. It finally got stolen when the evo took over the garage space, and I got $4700 out of the deal. I'm glad though as I would have regreted having to stress due to the Honda blackmarket out there.

i don't understand the honda blackmarket stuff. well i guess so long as there is a market for it.

i also don't understand what people's obsession with VTEC is too. educate me if you can. but today i have some ricer in a civic si trying to play on the highway. the si make like 200 hp at like 8k rpms. is that something to be proud of? i mean 200 hp isn't much in any car (well maybe a lotus or something) but you don't start to approach that until close to redline. i just don't get what the attration is.....buy a v8 mustang or srt4 and you should do better than any VTEC

There's nothing like a sound of an N/A motor, thats all. I loved those things casue they were cheap to own, and build, and some are able to give the big motors a run for their money. Its not winning, but the fact that a guy in a vette says damn that thing is pretty fast is enough. I still love those things, but the theft rate is out of control, and I dont want to deal with it. Also, since so many people are into them, the price for new and used parts are rediculous compared to say, the evo.

51,000 miles and power everything, sunroof, alloy wheels, cd player, .......etc.

They are great cars. I def want to get another one eventually. My best friend had a 2002 ES that i drove a lot and was in pretty much everyday until it got totaled. Car was awesome and never gave any problems other then stuff my friend decided to mess with. (Young and dumb when your 16-18years old with your first car lol)
I owned a 2003 Mazdaspeed protege and miss that car almost everyday. Was a great daily driver that had a tiny bit of power and handled great. Made the daily commute a blast whenever i wanted it to be. As much as is miss my mazdaspeed though i think i'd rather have a regular protege like yours that's better on gas, cheaper maintenance, etc. Good luck with it you shouldn't have any problems with it as long as you keep after it.

Chu, looks like both of us are working tech on Sunday.

Do you want to try to ride up together? We'll have to figure out where we want to meet if you do? I don't know what the best way for you to go would be, TP maybe? I don't exactly know my way around Allentown real well but we'll figure it out.
