I dont know how far from south philly, maybe 40 mins. Oaks exit of 422

 

Sna it is about 42 miles from south philly. where in south philly do you live? i work at methodist and commute back here everyday. it is going to get a lot worse after next week when i move even farther.

jeff that is a good idea. first tuesday of the month is easy to remember and isn't overkill. looks like tim wants to do 2 tuesdays a month. whatever gets decided upon i will try to be there.

 

i live near CBP and pats/genos right on 9th st. dam you work out here and live up there? well i work 35mins. from home too so i guess work is work......

Only reason I proposed 2 a month is because if someone can't make it that Tuesday, then essentially there is a 2 month span between the meets. That is practically the whole summer...lol. If there are two dates per month, then it's not such a big deal if you miss one here and there.

And actually, if we do a meet on June 16th (the 3rd Tuesday) it is already 3 weeks until the next one July 7th (1st Tuesday).

But I'll do whatever, it was just a suggestion. If we want to make just one official meetup a month, and then others can decide if they want to go more. That might also work.

 

we need to bring coolers of beers and ish like that. standing a lot is cool and everything but even better when shotgunning beers.

i guess that is illegal here. i came of age in miami and europe so walking around in public with alcohol isn't a big deal to me.

 

are you the silver evo ive been seeing around here lately? im on 7th and christian.

 

I see an AS around too but I think Sna's is WW. I see a black dude driving a WW VIII down broad street all the time too.

 

Hey guys, how's it going? I've been working a ton of overtime to make up for some unpaid time off with the baby. I also had a little mishap with my car that got me frustrated with the Evo again. I took it to JNZ Tuning because I didn't have the time to check things out for myself. Turns out I had a couple of nuts and bolts come loose and fall out of my JMFab dump tube and my gasket blew out. I'll get the car back tomorrow so things are good again. I'm glad you guys are interested in meeting up at Oaks. It would be so much better to go there with other Evos and other guys that I know. I've been losing interest in meets lately but this could be a turning point. Hopefully I can make it out to see some of you.

 

Yea I'd have to say that was my best time I could do. 4th gear was gettin close but I have the evo 8 3rd and 4th now so it's a little better than before.

or we can just do the sonic on street road meets on thursdays, that way theres 4 a month lol. yo i pulled a guy over in an AS 8 today up by the stadium with black rims, i just wanted to know wehre he was from lol, he said hes on the board but i forget his name, and dek, what do you do at methodist, im up there a lot with hospital case prisoners lol. tonight i saw a WW mr with some white guy driving it at 11th and ellsworth. chino i work right down there so if you ever see a TB 9 parked at 11th and wharton its mine.

 

Yea im down for w.e. I live real close to oaks so its not a hassle. There were probably 20 civics. I think some guy had a ford windstar with an exhaust on it. Heard somebody doing a burnout and it was him... Of course im the only evo around and as i drive by everybody started looking at pointing. 2 Kids in civics got in their cars and followed me out (literally tailgating me) trying to get me to step on it. (i mean because all 286hp is pretty impressive) lol
