Well guys, it looks like the Evo will be towed tomorrow. I'm gonna have the guy bring it over to JNZ to get looked at. I'm hoping it's something simple but my luck usually isn't that good. On the brighter side of things I honestly think I can break into the 10's with meth so that's the only thing keeping me from getting pissed.
Jim you def have a 10 sec car with a little better weather and some seat time. I'm honestly impressed with that ET... 11.4 @ 118 is some killer driving. what was the breakdown of the run?
Chu, thanks for the help mang. I'm pretty sure I've got a hood lined up from a local guy. All I really need is the light, and you're right, its hard as hell to find one.

I changed it this morning before i even seen you post this. It was a br kit wasn't it? I remember looking on there site to see how much the kit he bought was and then started looking at 35r's and got confused.
You're right Chip, it is the Buschur cast manifold kit. Looks almost stock under the hood!
Jim, you should have seen our group stand up and applaud when you hit 11.4, hahah. To your credit, it was hot and humid out, track was prolly dangerously slick, and you had some Falken all-seasons which didn't help traction at all. There's definitely more time for you and Ben, both.

Yeah, definately better weather and some good driving will get the job done. Marc, I couldn't believe I pulled that off with the heat and humidity at the track. I thought the guy handed me someone elses slip. As for the breakdown of the slip I'll post it up when I get home. I know my 60' was about 1.71 and my trap was topped out at 118.96 since I was bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th with 100-200ft to go. I wish I had longer gears. I definately thought it had the power to make an 11.3 E.T. Chu, I appreciate all the support I got from you guys. It was nice to have a crew cheering me on!!! I felt like a kid on Christmas morning when I looked at that time slip.
I don't know what its set at now but you might be able to get away with upping the limiter a couple hundred RPM to get you threw the traps. Did you log the runs at all? the other thing is if you're going to get a real tire for drag racing you could probably go alittle taller to give you more gear.
