marc, have you ever done the peripheral vision testing at the eye doctor. that is hard too.

you stare into a white lighted dome and have to stare straight at the blue dot straight ahead and click a button when you see a little light illuminate in the periphery. if you move your eyes the whole thing buzzes like a game show wrong answer.

(i just made grammar my b!tch with that post)

Chu this is no good... I was so looking forward to driving again. I'm sad now...

Please keep me posted as I was planning on signing up here shortly.

I know BR uses a Garret core. From everything I've read the BR race performs the best out there. I'm pretty sure the CBRD FMIC uses the same Garret 4" core as the BR race but the endtanks are different allowing it to be used with the stock crash beam. It may be a little pricey though... PM Chad, he'll give you the lowdown on it.

I used to get physicals about twice a year when I used to do contruction work. They did a pref. vision test but it was different then you described... not game show buzzers or anything like that. the hearing test had a little clicker thingy though, I was real good at that. I could hear above and below the normal range for a human (20hz-20khz).. don't tell my wife that though, she swears I don't hear anything she says.

honestly that CBRD/JMFab IC is the ****!!!!
Im gonna rock that one even though its significantly more then the ETS.
The ETS is a great core from what I understand, but this Garrett core should be leaps and bounds better.
The ETS allows for better flow to the radiator though from what they say so nice for a street car

I was thinking about the BR race core but I don't want to cut the undertray or crash beam. And I also don't like Dave, he's a DB, so I would rather not give him my business.

I'll PM chad and see what he has going on. Whats up with your car, anything? I'm going by Adams tonight to steal some parts off your car, just an FYI.

whats the best one out there now? I haven't been keeping up with all the new EVO products and I know stuff changes pretty quick. I'm looking for the most efficent core possible that will still work with the stock crash beam AND undertray.

what are my choices: Buschur, FR, Perrin... anyone else (don't really want to use ECS)
Turbo upgrade?

Pete, I will definitely keep you posted. I'm hurting about it myself, I threw a fit last night. Since my girlfriend is out out town, I've been the one to give presence at all the family events.

On another note, I want to hear what you guys think about this. This is probably easily resolved with a Mitsu manual, but I dont have one. Anyways, so the morning, I get an email from WORKS with updates they send out about parts and such. Well, they are updating their website to provide technical knowledge on the eov base. Out of curiousity, I look to see what questions are asked. I stumpled upon a question on brake bleeding procedure. WORKS advisors stated that the engine must be on when doing the bleeding. I've done bleeding on quite a few cars, and have never heard of having the engine on during brake work. The also mention the procedure as rr, lf, lr, rf. I can understand this sequence, since thats how brakes work. But I've always learned to work your way up to the wheel closest to the master cylinder, so my procedure is rr, lr, rf, lf. Really more curious about the engine running thing. WHat do you guys think?

I've never had the engine running, not sure the reason behind it.
I also bleed in the standard furthest from teh MS route (RR, LR, RF, LF).

Same here... RR, LR, RF, LF. I've never heard of doing it with the car running.

I wonder if it has anything to do the creating vacuum for the m/c. I know the brake system uses vacuum from the motor to work. I still need a good explanation about this though!
