Well Jim, I don't have you pegged as a bashful guy anymore. I am far from a medical expert but scrotal pain is very common with guys our age and people that do lots of heavy lifting. I've gone through bouts of it. The cause is usually due to strain or hernia but things like torsion are considered a medical emergency. Torsion is when they get turned around several times cutting off flow. It usually has a sudden onset and needs to be corrected within hours to avoid permanent damage.

Kidney stones and urinary tract infections can give you pain in that area but you'd feel intense back pain with a kidney stone and pain with urination with UTI (not the school) and sometime run a fever.

I'd consider seeing a urologist to be sure it isn't something very serious. If it isn't a hernia and his clinical exam is otherwise negative he should send you for a scrotal ultrasound just to cover all bases. And don't worry about it being something worse like cancer as that is usually painless until it pretty much kills you.

p.s. you're going to have to show your nuts to someone. better enjoy it.

Scrotal pain can be common like he said if you do heavy lifting. I used to get it after doing squats or back when i delivered drywall. It should still be looked at as it can also happen from hernias. My wifes a nurse and thats what she told me anyway.

LOL. I had a hard time taking it seriously. I suggested to my wife that she can fix the pain quickly when it happened to me by doing things with her mouth that are considered naughty in the Mormon community. Sadly I did not get the response I had hoped for.

I know Petey and the rest of you guys are willing to help out but it's easier said than done. I wish I had a single home with a garage and driveway so I could take him up on his offer. Right now it's up on a lift at JNZ. I'm going with a fully built Shep Trans w/ Quaife LSD. If I'm gonna spend the cash I wanna be confident in my TC when I release the clutch pedal at 6000rpm...hahaha. They only did a quick visual inspection. They haven't pulled anything apart yet. I'll hear back either late tomorrow or Monday afternoon. I don't care that much, it just sucks that I can't drive it now. I just went a month with it parked and now I'm gonna have to wait even longer.

jim sorry to hear about ur t-case. thats a huge bummer. one of the problems with drag racing i guess. at least your doing it right while your doing it. once its done you'll have no worries.

any of you guys and gals out there ride street bikes? in about a yr im going to be getting a bike to start off with. ive riden bikes in the past just never owned one. looking at a 600cc bike to start with and when i sat on them the cbr and gixxer felt the best. im leaning toward the cbr tho im just not a fan of the suzuki...any input?
